Blue-Necked Tanager

Blue-Necked Tanager

Another lovely bird I had the fortune of sighting in the Zurich Zoo.

The Blue-necked Tanager (Tangara cyanicollis) is a species of bird in the Thraupidae family. It is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montaneforests, and heavily degraded former forest.
