White Bellied Drongo

White Bellied Drongo

So this Sunday we visited Tungareshwar, near Vasai. It was a long, long trek uphill with very few sightings along the way. Near the top of the climb, I sat down for a while. In a bit these White Bellied Drongos appeared and began doing aerial acrobatics. Made for a nice frame. Spotted a few Yellow Footed Green Pigeons and a Verditer Flycatcher as well. And got a bit of macro action on the way downhill. There are these dhabas at the base point near a Mandir, so that made for a late but welcome breakfast. I guess a few weeks more and the bird population will go up around these parts.
