The Talawe Project

Last Sunday, we skipped going to Sinhagad, our favourite birding destination and decided to try Talawe instead.

The Sun, rising from behind the NRI complex made it rather tough to shoot the birds on the water.

The entire trek was rather starved in terms of variety. Some kingfishers, pond herons, terns, a grey heron, egrets – the usual stuff.

The only exception was a Bluethroat sighted by the wife.

We did get to see a lot of storks in a hurry to deliver babies to some lucky people 🙂

Here’s one shot. The one in the front seems to be making a dash for the finishing line 🙂
