Leaf Beetle

Leaf Beetle

Volkswagen can’t design a beetle as stunning as this.

Sunday morning was spent doing a Macro Session in one of the most unique natural habitats in the world.
While the equipment is not too heavy, a Macro session can leave you drained and sapped very soon.
The photography requires intense concentration, puts a lot of pressure on the knees and back.
Because the bugs and spiders like to hide/are small, you need to get close for a picture and so half the time you’re balancing yourself in some awkward position.
A monopod can help take the pressure off your joints.
And yes, carry water, stay hydrated.

The result will, almost always, take all the pain away.
